Four Lanes Male Choir Down Your Way

Our 70th anniversary celebrations continue with concerts planned for the 8th June at Redruth Methodist Church and 22nd June at Troon Methodist Church.
The 8th June is a significant date in the history of Four Lanes Male Choir. It was after D – Day, 6th June1944, that Albert Kemp and Wilfrid Brown convened a meeting to form a choir in the village of Four Lanes.

Four Lanes Male Choir is delighted to invite Holman Climax Male Voice Choir and St. Stythians Male Voice Choir to join with them on the 8th June to celebrate this anniversary and the beginning of 70 years of song.

The concert at Troon Methodist Church on the 22nd June also celebrates an historical moment as Troon was the first village outside of the immediate Redruth and Four Lanes area to host a concert by Four Lanes Male Choir.

The choir is delighted that the Ingleheart Singers, a community choir based in Troon with a wide and original repertoire, has accepted the invitation to be its guests for the evening.
Both concerts begin at 7.45 pm and entry at door is £5.00.

Rehearsals are now in progress for concerts in July. Four Lanes Male Choir has accepted invitations to perform at Constantine Flower Festival on Friday 25th July and Gwennap Church on Wednesday 30th July as well as planning to sing at St Ives Slipway (weather permitting) on 12th July.

Four Lanes Male Choir rehearses every Monday at Four Lanes Methodist Church beginning at 7.30 pm. under the leadership of Musical Director Tim Hosken and Accompanist Keith Halstead. New members can be assured of a warm welcome
